The work
Your role at ADEL
Help ADEL reach the leaders who need practical AI engineering expertise. You will research accounts, understand business challenges and work with senior colleagues to develop opportunities. The aim is not volume for its own sake: it is a credible conversation with a customer whose problem we can help solve.
ADEL stands for AI Development and Expertise Labs. We bring senior expertise, embedded delivery and capability transfer to enterprise AI. Your work should help customers move forward with systems they understand and can own.
What you will do
- Research prospective customers, their priorities and the people responsible for AI, engineering and transformation.
- Write relevant outreach and follow up thoughtfully across agreed channels, respecting contact preferences and applicable rules.
- Qualify enquiries by understanding the problem, stakeholders, timing and potential fit for ADEL services.
- Arrange discovery conversations with senior sales and engineering colleagues, with useful preparation and clear notes.
- Maintain accurate opportunity records, next steps and follow-up dates in the team’s CRM.
- Help prepare event follow-ups, account briefs and proposals without making unsupported delivery promises.
What you bring
- Clear written and spoken communication, attentive listening and reliable follow-through.
- Curiosity about enterprise AI and willingness to learn what FDE consulting, delivery Pods and training actually involve.
- Ability to research an organisation and explain why a conversation could be relevant.
- Comfort organising work, recording details and using feedback to improve.
- Evidence of initiative from work, study, volunteering or a project. Early-career applicants and career changers are welcome.
Useful, but not essential
- Experience in business development, customer service, account research or B2B technology.
- Familiarity with a CRM and professional outreach tools.
What good looks like
- Senior colleagues receive relevant, well-prepared opportunities rather than unqualified meeting volume.
- Prospective customers experience thoughtful communication and dependable follow-up.
- The opportunity pipeline contains clear context and actionable next steps.
